Great Restaurants, Even Better People
The warm Gulf of Mexico waters and white-sand beaches are what bring visitors to Mexico Beach, Florida. But once they get here, many never want to leave, thanks to the unique array of local shops and restaurants; fantastic vacation rentals, inns and motels, and campgrounds; world-class fishing; and, of course, our friendly locals who love sharing their home with vacationers from all over. We teamed up with BeachTV for a new video series, Get to Know Mexico Beach, and are excited to share it with you! In this video, you’ll meet Sharon Call of Sharon’s Cafe.
Sharon has lived in Mexico Beach for 31 years, and Sharon’s Café has become a go-to stop for many locals and returning visitors alike. It’s famous for delicious homemade breakfast dishes such as biscuits, waffles, fresh coffee, and Sharon’s special Giant Happy Face Pancakes!
“I couldn’t think of a better place to own a restaurant than Mexico Beach,” says Sharon, who grew up along the Pacific Coast in California. “The first time I saw the Gulf, I couldn’t believe how warm the water was . . . here, it’s like a heated pool.” Serving up breakfast and lunch with a smile and the kind of warmth that lets patrons know each meal is prepared with love, Sharon’s Cafe is located at 1100 Highway 98 in Mexico Beach—be sure to stop by during your next trip! Head to our Dining Page to learn more about the delicious eateries in Mexico Beach.
Thank you, Sharon!
