Christopher &
Susan Cammack

Owners, Mexico Beach Sweets

Mexico Beach Sweets is the brainchild of owner Susan Cammack, whose favorite memory as a child—and later as a mother—was hitting the local ice cream and candy store during family trips to the beach. Wanting to recreate those memories for the visitors of Mexico Beach, Susan, along with her husband Chris, opened the door to Mexico Beach Sweets, the area’s “must-go” spot for delicious ice cream, candy and novelties.

Ryan Harmon

Owner, Mexico Beach Harmon Realty

As a local realtor and property manager, Ryan Harmon loves introducing his guests to the pleasures of Mexico Beach. From fresh-off-the-boat seafood and mom-and-pop shops to the uncrowded beach and water activities, visitors feel at home in the small town. He’s found that guests come to love the area so much that they return year after year to enjoy their friends and family in the quiet and friendly atmosphere.

Nick Hunter

Manager, Shell Shack

As a native of Mexico Beach, Nick Hunter recalls waking up every morning to go swimming in the ocean before getting on the school bus. Today, he manages the Shell Shack—a seafood and souvenir shop—that his grandparents opened nearly 60 years ago. Withstanding the test of time, the Shell Shack is a staple to the community and its visitors, continually greeting return guests with quality seafood, novelties, and immeasurable hospitality.

Mitch Coleman

Captain, FloriDaze Adventures

After only spending a weekend in Mexico Beach, Mitch Coleman and his wife knew it would be their retirement beach life. Now, as Captain of FloriDaze Adventures, Mitch enjoys introducing families to the emerald-green ocean and world of fishing. Watching kids get excited about their first big catch is his favorite part of the job, outside of soaking in the beautiful beach and ocean views, that is.
