The Mexico Beach Welcome Center is your first stop, your secret weapon, and the friendliest place in town. Our friendly local staff have lived and loved this town for years, and they genuinely can’t wait to share it with you.

Located at 102 Canal Parkway, the Mexico Beach Welcome Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00PM.

Besides friendly faces, you’ll find everything you need for your trip, and if you need a charge, there are EVConnect Electric Chargers located in the parking lot for your convivence.

So, before you hit the beach or cast a line- come see us. We’ll make sure your trip is unforgettable.

The Mexico Beach Welcome Center is proud to offer convenient electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for public use, making it easier than ever to explore and enjoy our coastal community.

Two charging stations are available on-site and are accessible 24 hours a day. Each DC fast charging station is equipped with both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors, accommodating a wide range of electric vehicles.

These chargers are part of the Duke Energy Park & Plug program, supporting expanded access to EV infrastructure across the region. Charging fees are minimal and paid directly by the user.

To access and pay for charging, users will need to utilize the EV Connect platform, which manages the charging process and payment system. For additional details on how to use the stations, create an account, or troubleshoot, please refer to the EV Connect FAQ section.
