As the name suggest, the beach is the number one attraction in Mexico Beach. Our approximately 5-mile-long beach is public and accessible to all! With direct parking access and several easy-to-spot walkovers connecting Highway 98 to the beach, your family can enjoy the day splashing in our calm Gulf waters, building sandcastles, sea shell collecting, and soaking up the fun in the sun. 2. Exercise Along HWY 98

You can enjoy the fresh salt air by getting out and walking alongside Highway 98. Almost the entire length of Mexico Beach features a sidewalk ready for you to enjoy. Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely stroll, a slow bike ride, or a fast paced jogging this is a great way to see Mexico Beach and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere found here.

3. Explore Our Parks

Our local parks are not to be missed. Spend all day at one of our beachfront park– Canal Park Way or Sunset Park – casting a line or soaking up the sun. Other parks like Parker Park, Under the Palms Park, and Municipal Park feature picnic areas, playgrounds, pickleball courts, cornhole, basketball and space to enjoy. Our parks also play host to many events throughout the year like the Mexico Beach Farmers Market, Music in the Park, and our Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – all free to enjoy!
